A Year of Impact and Inspiration
As the 2024/2025 school year wraps up, we’re proud to celebrate the success of the Print Wisdom Mentorship Program — a collaborative initiative between Connecting for Results and Toronto Metropolitan University’s Graphic Communications Management (GCM) program.
This year, the program supported a record-breaking 78 students through mentorship pairings, industry guidance, and professional development opportunities. These students — many of them female academics preparing to launch their careers in the graphic communications industry — were given the chance to learn directly from seasoned professionals who generously volunteered their time and insights.
New Milestones and Meaningful Engagement
We’re especially proud to highlight a new initiative this year: five mentorship classroom visits hosted by our mentors. These in-person and virtual sessions allowed students to engage in real-time discussions, ask career-related questions, and explore real-world challenges and opportunities in print and graphic communications. These sessions were met with enthusiasm and appreciation, further deepening the learning experience.
Thank You to Our Mentors
None of this would be possible without the passion and generosity of our dedicated mentors. Your willingness to share your expertise, offer encouragement, and guide students on their career journeys makes a lasting difference—not just to the individuals you’ve mentored, but to the future of our entire industry.

Looking Ahead
With each passing year, Print Wisdom continues to grow, evolve, and strengthen the bridge between education and industry. Thank you once again to all who participated in making this year a success — including the teams at the GCM faculty, and everyone at Connecting for Results who supports this initiative behind the scenes.
As we look forward to another exciting year, we invite more industry professionals to join the Print Wisdom mentorship program.
