With tax season upon us, we’re highlighting the talents of our Mergers, Acquisitions (M&A) and financial expert, Morris Slemko.
Morris is a results-driven financial executive with extensive experience in corporate and operating roles in both public and private companies. During his tenure with a large Canadian public company, Morris developed his expertise in financing, taxation, and mergers and acquisitions in the printing and publishing industry.
Morris has held senior roles in print companies where his primary objective was to reduce costs, improve productivity, acquire/or divest, and re-finance the business. As a partner and Chief Operating Officer of an advertising business, Morris managed the sale of the business and the subsequent integration of multiple agencies, both physically and culturally, helping to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
In addition to his role as CFO for Connecting for Results, Morris assists CFR clients with every stage of the M&A process – from opportunity analysis and valuation, to facilitating transactions, and post-sale integration and success. An expert in business planning, accounting, and asset management, Morris is highly skilled in squeezing cash and profits out of a company’s assets, helping take companies to the next level.
